Climate Change - The Facts

Climate Change – The Facts

We constantly hear about climate change and I have tried to take this up with the experts however it seems political views are more popular than scientific ones.

Just a side note, the world people will probably kill each other off long before climate change.

Now the facts.

Firstly, global warming, I dispute this on a scientific basis. As an Engineer, I do not believe that scientists can measure every square kilometre of the earths surface taking into account seasonal changes and normal variations in weather, to an accuracy of part of a degree as they claim. I have been going to the beach for half a century and it hasn’t changed in that time.

Secondly, there are several major contributors to pollution such as China, India and USA, and we, in a small country like Australia, add very little. However when States like Queensland legislate for Carbon credits, then change their mind, and legislate for more land clearing, then change their mind and offer to pay farmers to keep trees, it shows they have no idea of environmental degradation and surface denuding that is the problem.

There are currently ideas that can help now, like Hydrogen Fuel Cell cars and using the CO2 from Coal powerhouses to produce bioplastics using cyanobacteria, but no one wants to know. They are pushing for solar and wind that are both useless as primary sources of power.

I’ll leave it at that now, any questions ask me. Just post your questions.
