Racism and Discrimination

I will not state a personal opinion on this and do not wish to push any specific ideas on this just want to define this so that a better outcome can be the future.

Firstly, Racist is a term meaning specific to race, it is not for any form of discrimination or ill treatment but has been used to imply that.

Secondly Discrimination, is the act of separation, "dis" meaning apart, and "ion" the act of. So even things like an Indigenous school specific only for aboriginals, is in itself discrimination. In South Africa it was because the Black people were looked down on and was called apartheid, and in Australia it is because of special treatment, so exactly the opposite yet discrimination.

People talk of different races being treated differently and often negatively so let’s analyse that.

There is a tendency to judge people based on race because of historical behaviour of a race over a long period of time, not by all but by many. Therefore, based on laws of probability, if you meet a person of a particular race, while they might be nice people and not necessarily the same as the rest, you expect certain characteristics and behaviour on the chance of prior expectations.

All people were created equal but thousands of years of cultural influence has altered people's beliefs and behaviour.

I would suggest that all Races, before complaining, should have a good look at themselves and those of the same race and think how can we fix our expected image. Maybe what people expect of me is what is generally being displayed to the world.
