Religions and other extremism

I was watching the news and a demonstration and noticed that the leaders were waving their arms around and shouting chants. Coincidently at the same time my wife was watching a religious sermon and when I went to see what the commotion was, here was a Pastor waving his arms around and shouting chants.

It struck me then that mass hysteria is the same whether in a political riot or in a Church. I now see that people are caught up in mass gatherings and will follow blindly if it remotely makes them feel good without stopping to think about the facts of what they are believing. I now see that Nazism and white supremacy is as dangerous as religions based on ancient mythology and all easily disproven
